Shopproof for Shopware
Last updated 1 November 2026
A free plugin for Shopware 6.7 shops that sell in the EU. It runs entirely on your own server. Shopproof gives technical help to display what EU consumer rules ask for; it is not legal advice, so check with a lawyer if you are unsure what applies to your shop.
The Shopware Store is not taking new extension partners at the moment, so we offer the plugin here until it is listed there. It is the same plugin, free, with no account or licence key.
What it does
- Withdrawal button: builds on Shopware's own button (Shopware 6.7.9 or later). Every request is recorded in your shop's database and linked to its order, so you can show when it arrived. The button and the form use the wording each country's law names, in English, German, French, Italian and Dutch. A setup check shows what is still missing.
- Product safety (GPSR): manufacturer, person responsible in the EU, identifiers and warnings below the product description. Fill them in per product, per manufacturer or once for the whole shop.
- EU legal guarantee notice: the official notice in the page language, with a text version.
- Durability label: the official EU label for products with a producer guarantee of durability of 3 years or more.
- Rules overview: the EU rules and the national rules for Austria, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands, each with its official source, updated once a day.

Install
In the Shopware admin: open Extensions, then My extensions, select Upload extension and choose the zip. Then select Install and switch the plugin on.
With Composer: on your server, in the Shopware folder, run:
composer config repositories.shopproof composer https://shopproof.app/shopware/
composer require shopproof/compliance
bin/console plugin:refresh
bin/console plugin:install --activate ShopproofCompliance
bin/console cache:clear
To update later, upload the new zip the same way, or run composer update shopproof/compliance and bin/console plugin:update ShopproofCompliance.
Set up
- Open Settings, then Extensions, then Shopproof. The page shows the withdrawal button check, the withdrawal requests and the rules for your countries.
- If the check shows a step to do, switch on the withdrawal button under Settings, Basic information (Legal and compliance) and choose the revocation request page under Shop pages.
- Under Extensions, My extensions, Shopproof EU Compliance, Configure: choose the countries you sell to and enter your default manufacturer details for product safety.
- On each product, the Shopproof sections under Specifications, Custom fields hold its own safety details and, where it applies, the durability label years.
- Product pages: the standard product page needs nothing. If you built your own product page layout in Shopping Experiences, the Shopproof page lists it with a link; add the block Shopproof product information (category Commerce) where the durability label, product safety and guarantee notice should appear. Each shows only once per page.
- Send a test withdrawal from your shop with your own email address. It appears on the Shopproof page, and Shopware emails you a confirmation.
Your data
Withdrawal requests and product details stay in your shop's own database; we never receive them. The plugin's only request to us is the daily download of the public rules file, which carries no shop, customer or order data. The privacy notice has the details. Uninstalling the plugin removes its data unless you choose to keep it.
